Ex's new partner has history of violent crime
#1
My ex has just recently met a new partner, it turns out that he has a conviction for robbery at knife point. I am obviously not comfortable with him having contact with my children and as my Ex has only just met him she hardly knows him either yet she is already letting him stay overnight whilst my children are there. What do i do ?

LINK REMOVED BY MARK R, AS GOES TO A NEWPAPERS WEBSITE, NAMING THE PERSON AND ALSO SHOWING A PHOTO OF HIM.

Contact the local police (101 i think) and explain that to them, they will do an unannounced welfare check of the property your children reside at and background checks on both adults in the property, they will let you know the outcome of what action they will take (if any) based on there findings.

I had one carried out at my ex partners property and they done it in about 3 hours of me phoning, if you have a good reason for the welfare inspection they are pretty quick about it.
