Holidays
#1
Hi,

Let's assume a contact order states "holidays to be equally shared".

What happens if I do not get any days off work in the February term and as such ask for the full May term.

Can the ex refuse and are the days I can't take lost or can I enforce them to take later on in the year?

What is the opinion on that?

Thanks.

Its holiday by holiday, not carried over.

It she insists on you taking half the days, its then up to you to provide the childcare for you time.

However, get evidence of her refusing to have the extra time, or she might go back to court to try to reduce it.
Posts made by me are my opinion and any factual information should be checked out. If you do not have a Solicitor, often your local CAB can get you some initial advice.
