Committal
#1
Hi.

A question.

Has anyone ever filed for committal of their ex as part of an enforcement order? I know the technicalities (mainly!) serving in person, standard of proof is beyond reasonable doubt, but just wanted to know how many if and if you have done it and how did it go?

Thanks.

You can only do this, if the Order already carries a Penal Notice.

On a First Breach, it might be a ticking off, fine or made to do unpaid work.

On top of that, is when you can ask for the Order to be upgraded.
Posts made by me are my opinion and any factual information should be checked out. If you do not have a Solicitor, often your local CAB can get you some initial advice.

Thanks. Been there done that. Way way way beyond that, so hence why i ask about committal.

I appreciate that a judge will transfer residence before jailing someone, and that option is already on the table.
