Fact Finding Hearing - Recorded?
#1
Is the Fact Finding Hearing recorded in it's entirety? I require proof of a number of statements both my ex and the Judge made.

Hi

It says on the government website that they’re recorded.

Write to the court and ask for a transcript. Only thing is it could take a long time to be produced and may be too long if you want to appeal - not sure on that.

As others have pointed out, it's all recorded. Although we never see the transcript (ordinarily) I'm sure as pointed out above, you can ask for it, though it will (as indicated) likely take time and cost money.

Thanks. A transcript is being produced. Hopefully it will included the Judge's comments I need.

Was it easy to do? how much was it?

Im wondering if it would be worth getting it, I wonder if it can be used as evidence in future proceedings.

You can apply for one, however the judge ordered a transcript of the order to be made, hopefully that includes the whole hearing but if it doesn't then I shall apply for the whole transcript.

You will need permission to request a court transcript.
If the judge has not already requested one.

For my appeal ,final hearing transcript it cost £140. As the final hearing was a mess and lasted 10 minutes, so the ££ per word on the transcript was not so much.

Mine lasted 3 days! However I think I mainly just need the transcript of the Judgement in which the Judge admitted he had basically made his mind up prior to my or her cross-examination. He then went on to liken me to Henry VIII and had a go at me for not including every single detail in my initial application - beyond bias and seriously concerning overall. I'm certain this will be more than enough for an appeal and proof he was anything but impartial, basically admitting he had made his mind up before I had even presented my evidence or testimony.
