i would ask for every saturday 10-4pm and tell caffcass and courts its crucial for your baby to have regular contact to ensure routine and stability and that should be built on at a later date so you do have overnight contact. if they insist on 1 day every 2 weeks i would ask for 10-6 pm ( 8 hours). courts 9/10 follow caffcass recommendations so you will need to do really well when you do contested hearing

I would question what reason is for it having to be every 2 weeks rather than weekly for time being

All i can advise is remain calm and dont get angry with courts or caffcass. Just got to be child focused but at same time why arent you having your child longer or it been phased in so you do. You will then hopefully get answers so you can get to have a great relationship with your child. come accross good to a judge and hopefully you have a good one an you may get more access. i can only imagine at moment its because your child is 2 1/2 they maybe using that against you. least it is contested final hearing rather than find a fact so you and your ex try and reach agreement or if u dont like whats offered a judge will do it.

Whats guaranteed is unsupervised access, which should be at least weekly as u want to move forward
