Advice needed
Court have received an consent order, but will take in consideration once Cafcass will provide report.
Having Cafcass interview tomorrow, shall I mention that both parties came to agreement and it's with court for sealing?

Yes you just speak to cafcass say you reached agreement and all u wish to do is co parent and strive to achieve best for children together . And just be generally child focused

After interview Cafcass said that there is no any safeguarding issues. It took 10-15min over phone, she was not going in to parenting details, covered only reports from police and council children services. All clear. Was stressing and sweating a lot. It's up to judges now.

Good news mate, best outcome for the call! As you say let the courts sort it.

Well done. Sounds like a formality then. Hope the courts get on with it quickly now.

Courts will just approve the order if ex remains in agreement. Now is time from now until court to make sure you got everything you want right , remember this needs to be followed years to come. For example u could put in child arrangement order any disputes or issues to be sorted by means of mediation for example

Hi. Received letter from cafcass. Initial advice to court:' I would suggest the parents would benefit from accessing the Cafcass website sorting out separation. Parties have advised that they have reached an agreement and would want the court to ratify the agreement the have reached'

What she ment with : would benefit from accessing the Cafcass website? Will we be referred to take a course?

It sounds like they are just saying - check out our information sheets and parenting plans on the website - it might be helpful.

Hi all. How long does it take to receive an update from court regarding consent order?

Child arrangement was considered by the court only, both parties were excused because agreement was reached. Thank you.

Ring the court :-) Clerks there tend to be helpful - sometimes they are, sometimes they're not. If not helpful ring back later in the day and you may get a different one! Suggest ringing after 10am and before lunch. Just tell them consent order submitted to court for sealing on x date and you haven't heard anything and ask if it is likely to be completed soon and for an update.

Incidentally did you get legal advice on the wording of the consent order? There is a possibility that if a Judge feels there is a problem with it, or it's unfair, he may want to see you both before finalising it.
