How Do I Find My Children's New Address?

Hello, I’m glad that you find the information on the site useful. Your solicitor is right: if you choose to go through the court it may be a long and drawn out process. However, the good news is that there is a way you can obtain your ex-partner’s new address. If you’ve ever wondered how companies that are owed money manage to track their ‘gone away’ debtors – this is it!

How to Find Your Ex-Partner

Go online and search for a ‘tracing agent’. You don’t necessarily need one that’s near to your home. A lot of the time the companies that offer this type of service are also private investigators, process servers (serving legal documents on people) enforcement agents (debt collection and other types of financial/property seizure), as well as tracing agents.

Bear in mind that there will be a fee for this service, which should be around £50 (plus VAT). If you can, use a ‘no trace, no fee’ service to guarantee that you only pay for the results you want. However, it is a very quick way to find your ex-partner’s address, and a substantial proportion of traces are completed the same day. You may also be given your ex-partner’s new telephone number, if she has one, and if it is available (i.e. not ex-directory).

How it Works

Most traces are carried out by conducting searches over a wide range of electronic databases. In more difficult cases, the tracing agent may have to use more extensive techniques of tracing and tracking to find the required information. A tracing agent will not make your ex-partner aware that you are trying to track her and your children down.

Before you employ the services of your agent, make sure that they verify the information they find: the last thing you want is to pay for the wrong address! This will be the most effective method for finding the address you require. You will be unlikely to be able to obtain much, if any, information through the child benefit offices or through your children’s school: they may have cited the Data Protection Act as a reason not to disclose this information to you. Hi. I have twin boys who are now 19years. I have not seen them since they were 9years old as their mum and family have stopped me. How can I find them to make contact and see if they are ok? I AM ready to meet them again if they are willing to also as I don’t know what they have been told about me.

@n/a .in my situation I don’t ever want to meet my daughter I made that decision many years ago .even if she wanted to meet me as bad as you want to meet your kids .my answer is (no )because like you it’s been 15 for myself with no contact and (it’s been the best 15 years off my life ).you see I never wanted a wife or kids I was 22 and got trapped bye a older women who already had a kid and was super damaged mentally like the father off her son killed he’s self .it was the worst thing I ever got myself into I just a naive kid at the time .I guess not ever men wants to have kids .

@missx.in my situation I don’t want find there address I’m completely happy with zero contact it’s been 15 years for myself without contact so I have zero emotional connection with her daughter .I could walk past her in the street and wouldn’t even recognise Her .i think with my kind off time frame it do more harm then good seeing her .(who knows what her mother told her she could have told her that I’m dead and I’m pretty sure she would already have a father figure in her life but though her daughters eyes it would be her father) .so personally think it’s best keep things the same way .(i am to old for that kind off drama in my life for the first time in my life I have found sum sort off peace it’s taken over 40 years for me to find any kind off peace ).but good luck finding your three children .

Hello I know this is a dad's website but I'm a mother trying to find my 3 children aged 12, 14 and 16. I have not seen them for 6 years despite having a court order. I had nothing but trouble from the step mother who made up so much lies and problems and stopping my contact because I wouldn't do it her way. I ended up more mentally ill and I just decided I'd let the kids live there life. But now I feel more stable and i am just wanting in direct contact because I unfortunately have limited mobility and they either live 100 miles away or I have reason to believe there 170 miles away. I'm at a loss. I went on one tracing agent site and they said they need the person's consent to give me the information which is never going to happen. Also when using a tracing agent am I best of trying to locate the father rather than the children? Please someone give me some advice. Thank you.

Hi, I'm in need of some advice for my situation if anyone can help. I have a 12 year old son who I haven't had any form of contact for 10 years, I have been paying Child Maintenance through CMS for 10 years and still don't have any idea if my son knows about me? The ex partner blocked or changed her socials, I've attempted to send birthday gifts for his 5th birthday via Royal Mail special delivery (next day) but was not accepted, so got sent back to myself unopened?! I tried going through Family courts before he turned 2 years old, it got thrown out of court as the mother and nan stated he has autism and ADHD, which I know now cannot be diagnosed at a young age. The judge agreed with them and so I'm left with no contact with my son. For 10 years CMS been taking child maintenance from me and Recently I found out they've moved addresses? How can I find their new address if I wanted to file a case in Family court again? CMS is no help! I managed to contact the ex on tiktok, she wasn't happy as all I wanted to know is if my son knows about his biological father? She replied with that she 'apparently' told my son about me and he 'apparently' said he's not ready to meet me yet. Gave it a few weeks then messaged ex if I could ask her something about my son.... What I wanted to ask her is for me to speak to my son through phone, hear him say he is not ready to meet me yet? Before I could ask the ex, she went on a rant about not to contact her and ends up blocking me on tiktok, also deleted her tiktok account!? Did I say something wrong wanting to hear my son's voice after 10 years? I wanted to hear from my 12 year old son if he wants to meet his father or not? I've waited 10 years, I can happily wait bit longer if my son was to tell me himself?! Now I'm at a loss, frustrated and more determined to ask my son myself anyway possible IF he wants to meet his father or not? So, this is what I know of my son. Currently know the secondary school he is attending, can I contact the school to asked them to pass on my message to my son? Maybe, give my email address to them or my son to contact me when he is ready to meet? I do not want to break the law, so asking for advice how I can approach this legally as I am on his birth certificate, which I can provide the school as evidence I have parental responsibility. Next query is how can I find out their new address if I wanted to file a case with family courts? Lastly, how else can I make contact with my son? Hi, I can across your page and I appreciate your content. my ex partner moved to the UK with his new partner and my two kids. I got to know from social media pictures. I have requested to be connected with the kids and he is refusing. I don't know whereabouts they live in the UK (I am also in the uk, we are from Nigeria)to be able to serve a court order or anything. Hi I'm looking for my son I've not seen for 6 years he is now 12. His mother has gave me nothing but trouble since the day he was born, we have been to court I have a court order in place and she still decides to take the law into her own hands solicitors want thousands again it's wrong, went to the house today with his brother and sisters to post Christmas cards to be told via a ring door bell that they moved away I personally think it's nonsense but it could be true.

My son's mother is a miserable , cheating, lying, back stabbing, manipulative, two faced, cold hearted price of dog crap( you know like the old white dried up stuff) who did everything she could to keep me from my son because I would not be in a relationship with her. I’m 38 was never married but have a daughter I haven’t seen her sense she was 5 I had a very troubled relationship with her mother where I was put on all sort off orders to keep me away from my daughter I tried back in 2015 to see her but off course the same thing happened again I was put on orders again .i have come to the realisation that I will die before I ever get the chance to meet her .but on brighter note she was( older enough in 2015) to know I tried to see her I even bought her gift so in my eyes that counts for something.

After spending over ten years in prison, I was told that as my son was under 18 years old I was not allowed to have any contact with him. He is now nearly 23 years old and has the right if ever he would wish to have some type of contact with me. I just want him to have a say and maybe make a positive choice. Hi I believe I may have a daughter. Her mother was an old friends girlfriend at the time but we ended up sleeping together. I thought the kid was his not mine she always told me it was his then when they spilt up he got a DNA test. He told me that the test said it was his kid originally then a few months later said he lied because he didn't want to believe it but the kid was not his a few years later I saw her but she once again told me the kid was someone else's now I've completly lost contact but I believe the kid is now in care. The last thing I heard was that she was living in Manchester somewhere but she got married and then split from her partner so I've tried to find her via Facebook using her maiden name but I've had no success I've tried to find the registration of her marriage but again been UNSUCCESSFUL I think I may have found the registration of the birth but I'm not 100% sure.. I even contacted the Jeremy Kyle show but I'd rather not do it on TV. Can anyone suggest how I could find out where the girl I suspect is my daughter is living and/or her mother or if the is a way of getting a test against any DNA archive that may be held somewhere with the previous results from my friends test that said he was not the further. Any help would be much appreciated.

Good afternoon, i really am looking for some help. My ex stopped me seeing my children when they were 7 and 6, this was because i reported her partner for abuse to my ex and physical abuse to the children. To which social services paid a visit and although she had a restraining order against him, still allowed him in to their lives. I want access to my children, i know roughly their last known where abouts, however the local school they went too refuse to disclose any information and i now do not know which way to turn. Unfortunately, as we are a UK-based site we cannot offer information or help as we have knowledge of only UK-based family law (which has a court option to put a trace on children if a non-resident parent wishes to apply through the courts for access). I assume it is the same aborad as in the UK, that once your children are of age, you have every right to contact them without going to court and without permission from your ex.

I was separated from my kids when they were two and three years old, have a son and a daughter, my ex-wife's family was very deceivious and was turning them all against me. I love my children but I haven't seen them in a very long time they are 16 and 17 years old now. I am sorry to hear that your sister had a tough time. On the other hand there are many people who flee with their children because they simply do not wish the other parent to have access to the child. Every non-resident parent has the right to take the matter to court to apply for access to their child. The court C4 form, which is an application for an order for disclosure of a child's whereabouts will allow the courts to put a trace on the child to allow the non-resident parent to apply to court. However, the resident parent of the child can request that the address information is kept confidential to the court. The police can help protect proven abuse victims, as can the courts. Agreeable, it is a non-perfect situation. I find it disgusting that this is being advocated on this website. My sister left her ex due to physical, mental and emotional abuse. He abducted their 10 week old child and refused her access for 2 weeks. We had to take him to court to get her baby back. He is only allowed supervised visits at a contact centre with the baby but my sister lives in fear that he will find her address and come after her. Perhaps you should bear this in mind for the protection of abuse victims?!

My ex partner found out she was pregnant and binned me off when she was around 12 weeks pregnant. I worked at the hospital and was banned from carrying out my duties because she fabricated utter lies about me, this sent my anxiety spiralling out of control (like the split wasn’t bad enough) and there was a chance that I might not have been able to have children. She said she would always let me be in my child’s life and that she would remain in contact with either me or one of my family members (this never happened) I have spent the last 18 months or so trying to prepare myself mentally for battle with this vindictive, narcissistic woman but I have no idea where to begin. I’ve spent so much time contemplating knocking on her door but when we split she asked me never to go around and that she would be in touch. I feel really bad about the whole situation even though I have adhered to her wishes. I am totally fed up of people judging me for following her requests but enough is enough. I’m the dad (or I think I am) and I now want my daughter in my life what the hell do I do? I have a family member who is pretty clued up on the matter but I can’t use them as my solicitor through conflict of interest and I really want to take her to the cleaners.

In 2011, i went a little off the rails and started drinking heavily, seeing my kids less and less which is my own fault. I met my current wife in 2013 and i have been trying to find where they live since then, my Wife encourages me with this, especially as we now have two kids of our own. I found my Ex-wife on Facebook, and i don't want to just message her out of the blue. Honestly I'm too scared to message her now after so long and i don't know how the kids would react to me trying to get back in touch. Hello, do I have any rights at all if my name isn't on my son's birth certificate? I have only seen him once and he is 5 now and I have no contact with the mother. She messed me about when he was born then moved away somewhere and I have no idea how to get in touch with him or anything. @Tizzy - yes, but where do you draw the line for the poor innocent dads trying to track their kids if the mothers have done one with the kids. I spend two years trying to track my son so I could bring it to court. I'd not done anything wrong, it was just that my ex wanted to be with her new b/f and didn't want me in my kid's life. You don't say how old your children are now. If they are over 18, you are free to contact them. You may be able to contact them via social media or hire a tracing agency. If your children are under school-leaving age then you would have to apply for a child arrangement order through the courts. Along with this, you can fill in a C4 form, which is an application for an order for disclosure of a child’s whereabouts. This will allow the courts to put a trace on your children, in order to allow you to bring the matter to court.

Hey, I read your artical a while back and I thought I would give it ago, as my fiancè has been denied access to his child and she moved address. We wanted to go through mediation and court (as we know she won't turn up to mediation) and we couldn't get her address. We looked for a tracing service to find her address, purely for court purposes. We found a agent that cost £34 no find no fee. They got back to us in 6 hours with her address. They were brilliant. If your ex attempts to try to find you though the courts i.e if he wishes to apply for contact to your child. You can ask the courts to withhold your address and the courts will not divulge it. If he attempts to find you via private means, then you would have to alert the police if and when you think he has located your address and if you fear you are in danger.

I never missed a game for my son in football and played tea time with my girls. My ex girlfriend was cheating and decided she needed me gone to do what she wanted. Her mom and family have slowly deleted me off social media and KNOW the story. They even used to feel badly for me because of the way she treated me. Yet, they have all left my side. I really don't know what to do from state to state. I have no car, no nothing to even drive to Alabama. Wondering how long it would take to search her. There ought to be some way on theinternet to pay for a tracer service.

I was tempted to go knock on her door & hopefully finally get to see my kids, but I figured anyone who could behave in a cruel & heartless way she has wouldn't listen to reason anyway & it'll probably be used against me in court & whatever. Hello! A few months ago my partner took it upon herself to up & leave without telling me taking my children with her. She refused to take my calls or answer my texts, I had no idea where she had to. I gave her time to get her head together or whatever in the hope she would see sense & be responsible about all this but she refused that as well. So I had to resort to using a tracing service, no find no fee & to my surprise they found her new address as I checked it out & found her car parked at the property. It cost me £50.

I've been paying an agreed amount with my estranged wife for child maintenance. I recently moved and informed her that I would be working shifts to earn more money as I was struggling. She asked for more money even though I was doing so just to get by. Within a month a had a letter from the csa saying my "previous agreement" had finished and I now needed to make a new agreement. However, apart from taking the advice from the article, you may have to go back from when you last saw her and trace the trail forward from schools, relatives, or other organisations in your country who may be able to help.

Thanks for your response. After applying to the Court for a contact order, the court then request her address via CSA and forward the documentation to the address given by CSA (active CSA case). However the documentation (for child arrangement) gets return to the court unopened, stating person doesn't live there. What can I do?

No, the council would not give you this information. If you wish to find where your child is living, with the aim of taking it to court for a contact order, then you can apply through the courts with a C4 form which is an application for an order for disclosure of a child's whereabouts. However, if your ex does not wish to you to know the address for reasons of her own, then the court does not have to disclose the address. But what it does do, is allow you to apply for contact with your child.

Iv been through this situation and I have had 2 contact orders and finally enforcement orders!!.. The best thing to do is make an application for contact through the court!!... Do not use a solictor as it is not needed and a waste of money, all your doing is paying for them to practice law in a court room and there's nothing they can do that you can't do yourself!!.. Secondly get on to social services and inform them that you are concerned about the emotional welfayre of your child and the mental of the resident parent, which is usually the mother!! Do not let them fob you off, keep hounding them as they are legally bound to check every complaint!!... And once you do that your child is then on their system!!.. The courts always see it is in the best interests of the child to have a father/mother so you will get the ball rolling.. Now depending on the childs age their normal procedure is to use a contact centre for safeguarding measures!!.. But other arrangements are normally sorted to allow contact!!.. This is a long process but it's fair to the child because if you havnt seen the child it is a very confusing time them.. I'm about to apply for residence of my son as I have his mother enough rope to hang herself with. I have children services on side, because of the constant breaking of court orders the system doesn't know what to, as they clearly do not wish to send her to prison, and were basically waiting for me to apply for custody, but as everyone knows that isn't the easiest thing to do as we have to work full time.. Either which way think about what you want and do it, think what's best for your child and act on it!!... Do not act in emotion, act on what's best!!.. Your child will come banging on your door one day and ask why you didn't care enough to find them or want to see them!!... Providing their are no underlying sordid secrets such as abuse/ violence then social workers will always seek to help that child have contact with another parent!!. I wish you all the luck and love in the world in getting your children back in your lives!!...if there is anyway I can help with advice on what to do please ask, Iv been fighting my ex through the courts 6 years and the tables have turned in my favour as they will yours if you start this journey, and it is a long hard journey, it usually takes up to 8 months to get the contact order, but in that time you will get to see them on short term basis, you may not get overnight stays but you will see them, believe me this helps you and the child to bond!!.. This is difficult to advise on as you don't say who has taken them, whether it was through official channels i.e adoption etc, or by your ex. If your ex has moved away with them and has left no forwarding address, then you can apply through the courts for a C4 form, which is an application for an order for disclosure of a child's whereabouts. The courts may not divulge their actual address, if the resident parent does not wish the court to do so. However, what it does, is give you the means to apply through the courts for access to see your children. I hope this answers your question.

Hi my ex has recently stopped me from seeing our son, we have been in regular contact for 3 years. After an argument with my current partner she now has done this, also i have our daughter living with me so technically she's stopping her brother seeing his sister too . I have her because she couldn't cope with her 3 years ago. Does she have to tell me why she is stopping me and can i legally still phone my son. I have asked for mediation but she says shes meeting with solicitors and taking things further. Im dredding her lies but hopefully the court will see through them i can honestly say ive done nothing wrong, this is just her being difficult. Please help

@maverick - I have had to delete the full name and address of your ex for obvious reasons. However, if you want to apply for contact to your children, but can't do so because you cannot locate your ex then you will need to also use the court form, C4 which is an application for an order for disclosure of a child's whereabouts. It means that the courts will attempt to locate your children in order that you can continue to apply for access. I hope this helps.

@Sonny - you can hire a private investigator still. If you want to go through the courts to locate a person, the form is a C4, but I am not sure what the equivalent would be through the Irish courts. You would have to contact the Citizens Advice Bureau Ireland and a legal advisor may be able to help.

Her moms name before she got married was Tina Bennett and i believe was born in Selly Oak Birmingham UK. Her dads name was Gordon and had a brother David. @B - yes you are on the right track with both of those forms. I'm afraid it's a bit like 'how long is a piece of string', it depends on how long it takes to locate your ex which is dependent upon how well she has covered her tracks. Then again it is carried out by people who are trained in the process and will know how to track people quickly. However, the more information you can give in order to help the process the better. Hi, I have a 5yo daughter. It has been 2 and a half years since last seeing her . Made our own arrangements initially. Had solicitors agreements for contact. Tried mediation, got FM1 form as the mother did not show. Had 2 separate contact orders. All of these have lasted no more than a few months before the mother has decided to stop showing. She married, moved away. Didn't tell me any of this. I managed to locate her via Voters Roll. Started proceedings again about 2 years ago but lost my job before going to court. Have moved several times in past couple years trying to secure work. I'm back in a more suitable, financially stable position. I transfer money almost every month. A few times over past couple years I haven't been able to. I believe she has since divorced and moved again. I've tried sending mail recorded delivery and not delivered. No longer on voters roll. She once unblocked me on FB, I noticed she was back to using maiden name, which is why I believe she is divorced. I found a picture of my daughter, so I copied it and posted it for friends/family to see. She reported me, had photo removed and blocked me again. Tried contacting her brother. He said he would pass on my info, but no longer replies to my messages. I have contacted solicitors recently. They are talking of costs in terms of thousands. Few hundred to send application. Several hundred for each court appearance etc. So I've been looking at doing it myself. I understand I need to fill out and send 4 copies of C100. And that I need to complete a C4 for locating her. Is this correct? I imagine this will be a lengthy process. I have toyed with idea of tracing agent/PI. But do not have much of a basis to go on. Not sure what name she uses etc. Is C4 through court the best option. How long can I expect it to take etc? Thanks

I need help tracking my son I lost custudy and my rights to see him. I don't know if my ex girlfriend is married or what she told my son about me. My son probably hates me or knows nothing about me which really hurts me he is 18 going on 19 years old know. When we had our son I fought the courts very hard to get my name on the birth certificate. And this is the reason why I can't see my son of her parents hated me. I've seen my son 4 times in my lifetime I'm 37 yrs old my my mother seen her grandchild once my family 0 times. I've done searches on Facebook for her she blocked me I can't find my son I just sometimes keep looking till my head spins. I hope one day he will have some common ground to say hi to me. The time is very hard not knowing if he is alive or something happened to him. I have no way to know what going on in is life, I do not want to be always be the bad person.

@Broken - I'm sorry to hear about your situation. This must have cost a lot of money and effort to try to find your child. As you are Australia-based (I presume) and our sites are UK-based I can't unfortunately help you with European law. All you can do, once found is apply for a contact order as you have the address, but this is of course going to cost. While we cannot recommend specific companies there are private organisations in Germany that will help trace a birth certificate at a cost - you would need to do an online search. I hope this helps.

Hi. In December 2006 my girlfriend moved in with me. I write books for a living. We always wanted to have children. In mid 2007 she moved out for no obvious reason. She was considerably bigger and all the signs were there for pregnancy. We agreed that our child would be named after a link to my books. I didn't see my girlfriend for another two years. One day in 2009 we bumped into each other and she invited me over for coffee. Her daughter came downstairs because she couldn't sleep. My ex introduced us. Her name was Paige. She looks exactly how my daughter would look - just like myself. My ex says Paige is only five now, but she looks older. I have no clue about Paige's date of birth or what last name Paige is under. I am looking for advice, I have read a lot of comments and articles on your site, but can't find anything with the exact sane circumstances as mine. My ex told me she was pregnant after we split up, for a few weeks we were able to be civil but that didn't last. I have very limited contact since then and I know she is due to give birth anytime now, if she has not already. The contact I made was to ask if we could put our problems to one side and sort out an amicable solution. Unfortunately that is not possible as she will not entertain the idea at all. Since we split she has moved and I only know by chance, the block of flats she is in but not the actual number. Also when we did speak she said she would stop me from seeing the child and has threatened to tell the courts all sort of bad things about me, mostly made up or exaggerated a lot. I would really be appreciative of any guidance in what steps to take next as I'm short on funds but would be devastated if I couldn't see my child as soon as possible. Ideally I would like to be on the birth certificate and have regular contact, is that even possible?

@Scott - you can find her birth certificate either at your local registry office or online, by looking via the mothers name. Do you know anyone who knows her, or where she might have gone, or where she last lived? Trying to locate her through friends is one way. Other than that you might have to take the advice of the article and go online and search for a ‘tracing agent’.

Any help in tracking down a friends ex partner she has changed her surname at least twice he pays a large chunk of his wages through the csa and has had no contact/news/chance to see his daughter in a year. What do you do when you can't find an ex partner but want to be part of your child's life ? The child is only 2 . He is becoming very disheartened and is thinking it is better to wait till she is older . I think he should keep trying and show he loves his daughter how ever painful it is. I've not seen my Son for now 8 years despite going to court in Barnet, North London to get the address and met a man hating woman judge - I believe they are called misandrists. My ex who suffers from Othello syndrone previously claimed to be living in Spain to stop me finding the boy claimed that if I had his address or even a photo I would kidnap or abduct him. I have no criminal record & in a healthy respectable relationship but live & work in France - the thought of abduction never crossed my mind but apparently I'm to be considered a kidnapper now. To kidnap my son would destroy my life, security, relationship & put me in jail so it will never happen!!! Is this really a defence that will stand up in a English court today? Even with a man-hating judge. Thank you for your advice.

Hi, I have a question if anyone can answer it for me. If my partner who i have a child with leaves a property she owns and goes to a different area claiming she is fleeing domestic violence. If there has been no domestic violence in the relationship should i be contacted by police or the council as part of the housing assessment.. I wasn't contacted by anyone but found my now ex partner living 75 miles away and she had been housed. I also she had used history of her previous relationship as evidence she was a victim of domestic violence. Could i take the council to court as i have now worked out that visiting my son once a week until he is 18 just in petrol it will cost me £19.000. I have contacted the council and told them if they had followed their procedures and made enquires it would have been quite easy i find that there had been no violence between us. All they have said is that because of data protection they cannot discuss the case with me and any further contact i make will be put on file. My ex sold her house and had didn't have to put a penny of the £120.000 equity into another house. Best Regards

Interesting recently i have just found out my ex that has my daughter has moved and hasnt given me her new address in way feels like as if she's done runner basically from address i did have. think now going to be even harder as cant get the legal aid cos of new goverment crap think government needs to put legal aid back in place. however they is also works around legal aid the pro bono voluntary service some solicitors can do. guess for me going to be long road to find out where me ex has moved to with me daughter. or if ex ever gets back in touch.

I am looking for some sort of help or info I am with a fantastic man who came in to my life after my husband of 14 years cheated and left me and his three kids .. But this man has come into my life and taken on my kids as they were his own .. He has three children of his own one that he sees regularly from his last marriage .. Hi, firstly many thanks for all of then information on your site, I have always found it not only a useful source of information, but that it also helps to hear that we (as separated dads) are not alone. I dont have a question as such, but am having problems dealing with my current issue. Although my wife and I split up some time ago, and despite how things seem to have progressed to the point where I see my children every weekend (by mutual consent) and have them for an overnight stay, as well as chatting to them on a Wednesday evening via phone, I noticed earlier in the new year a slight shift in my ex's behaviour, and two days after my birthday (early March) she called to say that she had met someone, and that he was in the house on the day I had dropped the children off (in order for him to meet them), needless to say I felt extremely hurt by the fact that all of this happened so quickly, and retrospectively. I have got passed that now (to some degree), and even the fact that he has now moved in with her, but I am finding it difficult to deal with what seems to be a continuous attempt to either upset or provoke a reaction from me. One such instance was a meeting at my daughters school (TAF- Team Around the Family) meeting, which has taken some time for me to be able to attend. Essentially the school asked about picking up my daughter in emergency situations, and my ex listed herself, mother, new partner and then myself (in that order), I could only ask whether this was more about location (I live furthest away from the school, but not unmageably so), and the answer was yes, I did state how this made me feel emotionally, but that I would always be available should the need arise. I am making every attempt to try and keep things amicable between all concerned, and this weekend even asked her new partner to assist with carrying our childrens overnight stuff to my flat (my ex had suggested that he carry my son to the flat, as he was asleep when they arrived, which for me is a case in point!). I cannot help but feel that inevitably, my ex is trying to eradicate me from our childrens life, and it is this fear which is becoming increasingly difficult to deal with. I believe I have an excellent relationship with my children, and am certain there is a strong bond between us (my son didnt want to go into my ex's house this weekend when I dropped them off, until I suggested he show her partner how to use their computer game, it wasnt easy to say/do, but I felt that it was right, and would show my ex that I am trying to do my best for all concerend). I am sorry if I am rattling on a bit, but if there is any advice you can give or anything I can do (that I might not already be doing), to allay these fears, I would be extremely grateful. havent seen my three children in thirty years,tryed many times.would like to see them or at least know they are doing well.im not a dead beat dad ive always sent their child surport on time.NEVER STOPPED LOVEING YOU GUYS

I'v not seen my son since he was 4, due to my ex partner running off with a mate of mine. He will be 12yrs old now! and i'v heard now, that they have moved to yorkshire! Hudderfield i think. And i do want to see him again! She has done this with her partner before me aswell. What do i do, and can she stop me from seeing my son after all this time? Thank you.
